I'm trying to write a yandex api translate sub routine, but it can't display certain characters because of a lack of utf-8 support.

Do the UTF8ToByte64$() and Byte64ToUTF8$() help at all?

I have never seen those commands in the refrence and I just tried them and couldmt get it to work

Sorry, I forgot you're not a beta tester. They are new in the 7.3 upgrade.

I've just added two new string functions which will be in the next beta release of 7.3. I think these are the functions you need and this is the time for adding new statements.


utf8$ = StringToUTF8$(string$)

string$ = UTF8ToString$(utf8$)

When I creating category with UTF-8 symbols, script make a folder example; #311;doit and when uploading image script give info: doit dir dont exist‥ Can I do something with these?

I saw that there are scripts to migrate the database from ISO to UTF-8 encoding.

I have some problems with my UTF-8 database. If filenames in CL_flightData.php igc filename or photo filename, … are encoded in UTF-8 in the database, php was unable to open the related file if the filename contains special characters multi bytes encoded like
