Testing for varaibles
« on: Jun 02, 2018, 04:02 PM »
I would like to have a way to test if a variable has been defined.

There are many isXXX() statements.

With this test, I could skip one-time initialization code, I could Initialize the variable in the same subroutine where the variable is used, It reduces the scope of the variable.

I would like to see Global and Const as initialization statements and when called again these would be ignored. No resetting the variables, no errors. But this change could cause current programs to break.

I agree with ComputerConnection and Fiavvek. We too would like to see support for 10.6.8 continue on a bit longer. In fact, it is probably our number one feature request.
