Carry only the necessary when assembling
« on: Dec 04, 2017, 05:44 PM »
Good day / afternoon / night ….
I see that an application, even if it is very simple, with few lines of program and without graphics or sounds, ends up taking up a lot of space in its compilation.
That is why I wanted to suggest that when it is exported, do not include all the language of Mintoris Basic, but include only the necessary code so that the finished application will not be too heavy.
I am aware that now phones have a lot of memory. But I think it's illogical that the whole Mintoris compiler be carried in every assembly.

Only the Basic runtime library is included in an apk, not the compiler or the UI. The majority of the code is the Android library.

Re: Group/Convoy Driving Guidelines

A story I have read many times and will read again so many times in the future but the pages I read is in real time and is not necessary if only people would think what if and not leave anything to chance but they wont. The attitude of it will never happen to me added with ignorence ends up with the above story.

Re: Group/Convoy Driving Guidelines

It was just the fact that it could be any one of us writing that story that struck home. Just goes to show how quickly things can go from fun to a ruined life or lives.
