Playing around with factorials
« on: Mar 16, 2017, 02:41 PM »
I made a program to print out factorials and I noticed that 171‼= Infinity. This is obviously caused by an overflow error, but I think it's interesting that the program behaved this way. Does anybody know anything about how many digits mintoris can track and about it's accuracy?

I spent one whole day getting factorial to work with all the new variable types in version 8.

In the next release you can use BigDecimal or BigInteger and have as many digits as you need.

BigInteger n = 1024

print n‼

I was going to put the answer to 1024‼ in here, but the number is two pages long.
